Mohammad is a Managing Partner at Outliers; an operator-led fund backing Outlier founders at the earliest stage in the US & MENA. Previously, he worked as a security engineer at Google and Mozilla, and later founded TSI, a MENA-based cybersecurity company scaling it to multi-million dollars of revenue.
Prior to founding Outliers, Mohammad was an investor, advisor and board member to a number of public and private organization. He has also held several leadership positions, including Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Chief Information Security Officer of the National Digitization Unit and Leading Digital Transformation at the Ministry of Justice. He is Kauffman Fellow, and holds a PhD in Computer Science from Purdue focused on the intersection of Cybersecurity, Machine Learning and Cognitive Psychology.
