Conference Overview

For two decades, we have taken great pride in organizing the largest Middle East-focused conference in the region, bringing together business leaders, politicians, social influencers, and members of royal families from across the Middle East. Our prestigious platform has become a beacon for thought leadership, sparking rich and meaningful discussions on issues that impact the region and the world.

As one of LBS's flagship conferences, The Middle East Conference is a celebration of diversity and innovation, where senior speakers from across the region join us on campus to share their expertise and insights. With a rich tapestry of voices and perspectives, this conference has become one of Europe's largest annual gatherings dedicated to exploring the Middle East.

Every year, we attract prominent government and business leaders, diplomats, academics, professionals, and students to engage in thought-provoking discussions on matters of great importance to the region and the world. We expect to welcome over 300 attendees this year, cementing our status as a platform for fostering meaningful connections and spurring transformative change.

2023 Theme: "Redefining The World Compass"

The region is going through unprecedented changes; with the theme 'Redefining the World Compass,' this year's conference will delve into the opportunities and challenges in the shifting landscape of the Middle East. From growing the tourism sector to cultivating the venture capital and private equity scene, the Middle East is undergoing social and infrastructural changes to lay the foundation for a sustainable future. This year's conference will provide a platform for discussing how major governmental institutions and private sector pioneers can take advantage of developing opportunities in the region to ensure its competitiveness in the 21st century.
